Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological intervention that has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of mental health conditions. CBT uses the technique of challenging “thinking errors” and “negative irrational beliefs” that we believe about ourselves and others, this challenging of our thoughts and attitudes and beliefs can in turn assist in conditions such as; anxiety, phobia, OCD and eating disorders.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR can be used to address these underlying traumatic experiences and help the client to process their past traumatic events, so the intrusive thoughts and memories are just that, a distance memory.
